On Friday, April 6th, students from the Real Estate Association (REA) were hosted by Jamestown and Belvedere Capital for a private tour of their historic Industry City development which stretches across 15 blocks of the Brooklyn Waterfront.

On Wednesday, March 28th 2018, members of the Real Estate Association (REA) were hosted by L+M Development Partners for a private tour of their groundbreaking Essex Crossing development on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

 

On April 13th, after chasing warmer weather in Miami, 21 first- and second-year REA students met with a group of local real estate investment professionals to learn about their current activity in South Florida and abroad.

 

(NEW YORK) – Groundbreaking new research released today by Columbia Business School shows that when it comes to the availability of mortgage credit, voters punish incumbents in tough economic times, but don’t always reward them in good ones. The new findings could impact how we view the relationship between the economy and national elections for years to come.

From March 12th to 16th, 2018, 30 Columbia Business School real estate students and administrators traveled to Hong Kong and Shanghai, learning about the market in China and meeting with both local and foreign real estate companies.

Luis Alania '19 represented Columbia Business School as a NIC fellow at the National Investment Center for Senior Housing & Care (NIC) conference in Dallas, Texas. The conference is the largest event for owners, developers, and investors in senior health care and housing in the United States.
